5GL-Doctor is an easy to handle software and more commonly known as “differential diagnosis software”.The system produces a short list, in the order of the most likely, of the conditions which should be considered when a patient presents with certain symptoms and signs or explains all the user needs to know in the one entry. It is flawless, precise and exact in its diagnosis but only when the definition of a disease in the “symptom/indicator” pattern and the occurrence is absolutely correct. 5GL-Doctor is also a “database management expert system”—the user can copy, paste, classify and organize medical information. It is also a “knowledge” system, which allows the user to define meanings, equivalent or similar expressions, etc. 5GL-Doctor is also completely updateable to include pictures, treatment charts, and any information specific to local conditions. 5GL-Doctor was developed for doctors, nurses, specialists, students, and health professionals in any related field. There are two main editions (or variations of these). The medical edition is more for those who wish to enter much of the information themselves and build the expert decision making to how they want (but it has a large database as well, you may find little need to change anything or add anything); The Hospital/Special edition is for you if you do not have the time to tailor the software personally and prefer a large database with the majority of disorders and case studies already defined and explained. The actual size of this supplied database is possibly equal to a number of large textbooks.
